Best of British

Following English Wine Week, we’re tipping our hats to Britain’s best this month. While not historically known for its grapes, the UK now has one of the fastest growing wine industries in the world, led by a new wave of innovative British wine makers and their brilliant home-grown wines. Try a naturally fermented orange from Ancre Hill in Wales – which also happens to be the UK’s only biodynamic certified winery, pop a bottle of classic sparkling from Gusbourne’s vineyards in West Sussex, or ring in rosé season with a pale pink from Westwell, set on the chalky slopes of the North Downs in Kent. These and more Great British bangers available by the glass or bottle throughout June.
