Carbonic 2017, Pinot Noir, Elgin, South Africa

South African Wine

Winter may still be lingering here in the UK, but the sun is shining across the Atlantic in South Africa, with harvest season in full flow. A country once defined by heavier styles of wine, today South Africa is quietly developing a reputation for lighter, fresher styles, thanks to a new generation of young, passionate winemakers. We’ll have some of  our favourites on by the glass throughout March, so pop in, explore the list and transport yourself to sunnier climes.
