Spanish Wine
This month, we are clinging on to summer and drinking wine from sunny Spain. Now celebrated as one of the best wine producing countries in the world, Spain is home to many well-known grape varieties, with tempranillo, bobal, verdejo and albariño arguably taking center stage.
In September, we raise our glasses to these grapes and more, with a selection of Spanish low-intervention wines, a delicious organic aged cava from Llopart, and a brilliant pair of Harts Bros’ own; a new vintage garnacha Tinto from D.O Madrid and a bright Albariño from Rías Baixas.
Try: Suertes del Marques, 7 Fuentes, a smoky red from the volcanic soil of Tenerife, with a fresh, red fruit and spicy palate.
